Eternal's launch was funny because it was just /v/ trying to find a reason to shit on it, down to having people say the game was a failure and a downgrade over the previous game because the way you pick up new weapons in it was having a big glowing icon like in old shooters instead of having a cutscene where you carefully pick it up.
I mean, /v/ was always full of shitposting, but nowadays it's straight up schizophrenic.
