Trains unwanted newly hatched mons up till level 5 so that they can protect themselves once I release them. Pretty rough shit to do if I have 3 boxes of them but I would still do it anyway.

Keeping my Home boxes organized can be a massive pain in the ass, especially when transferring things back and forth. But it beats having to use the search and filters every single time I want to find anything. I know where it is, so I can just go to that box myself.

Some are weird, some are just things I've done since I was a kid
>Always keep starter unless I'm doing a monotype run
>Ensure each party member has the appropriate gender for their design
>If I'm doing nicknames, they all have to match a theme (same mythology, game series, etc.)
>Team members must be caught in standard Pokéballs, premier if shiny
>Team members must all be the same level before facing a gym leader/boss
>Party's level can never exceed the level of the gym leader's ace
> Color variety can and will supersede type coverage if my options are limited

The one I feel the weirdest about is that, for every new main series game that releases, I have to beat it with only the starter, beating every trainer I can, just to see how overpowered I can get. Everyone I've told this to says it's boring and pointless, but fuck them, I like it, it's fun and I'm pretty sure my autism (formally diagnosed, no memeing) wouldn't allow me to stop if I wanted to.

When I was catching legendaries as a kid and got fed up with them breaking out I would send out my strongest mon in an attempt to intimidate the legendary into staying in the ball, and the few times where it "worked" I was overjoyed
