I've already completed Pokemon black 2 so I should off unlocked the ability to play challenger mode right? I've deleted my profile and I'm ready to start again but this time on challenger mode but for some reason, it won't let me do challenger mode. Why?

You unlocked the "key" for challenge mode. You trade this key to another person's game and it gives them challenge mode. You cannot choose challenge mode for yourself. Also, it goes away if you start a new game. Remember, GameFreak designed it this way on purpose because FUCK YOU YOU'LL BUY IT ANYWAY LOL.

Deleting your save file deletes the key data also so if you want to do a fresh playthrough you need to use pkhex to hack it in.

It doesn’t matter anyway, challenge mode itself is broken and past the 2nd gym does nothing but make the game easier.

If you want to compare stats, just compare the trainers in the trainer data spreadsheets. Thanks to 30 IVs, Cheren for example is obviously still stronger.

More pokemons in the gyms leaders teams and smarter AI is still an improvement, it doesn't matter if you are geetting slightly more exp than in normal mode. You can still get wrecked by an opponnent on or two more levels will not matter that much.

This isn't XY, ORAS, or the worst Gen in the franchise, Gen VII. There's no broken exp. share that overlevels your entire party. Unless you use one pokemon, or grind for hours, it's pretty hard to be overleveled.
