I saw my son drawing Delcatty today. I asked him why he wasn't drawing a more popular Pokemon, like Sylveon or Goodra. He told me that he loved Sylveon and Goodra and that he couldn't wait to include them in his picture! I was shocked, my son has never said anything positive about new Pokemon before. I asked him what prompted his change in opinion. He told me that he just played Pokemon XY and that it was his favorite Pokemon game ever! He then said he wants to draw Delcatty holding hands with Sylveon and Goodra, underneath a COEXIST sign! I told him I was so happy he found such joy in one of my favorite videogames! He said that he can't wait to start his adventure in the Galar region after he is finished drawing for today! He proclaimed that he was absolutely ecstatic to choose Scorbunny as his starter! I could almost cry, I was so proud of him.
