Bayleef is one of my favorite Pokemon of all time. Just have a special attachment to it.
Chikorita is cute. Meganium is alright, but underwhelming in both design and in-game usefulness.
I'm part of the crowd that'd really like to see it pick up the Fairy type and get some other good buffs.

desu Meganium just suffers from having a sort of redundant design in gen 2. Sunkern and Bellossom both have a similar design choice/use with their flowers. Even Skiploom is sort of like this but Jumpluff managed to escape it.
It feels like since they just came up with Sunny Day, all the grass types had to be blooming.
