In other series, there is usually some consensus about which games are the best entries (FFVI, VII and FFT for final fantasy) but with Pokemon, it seems that every game has some collection of flaws that makes it mediocre

Frlg is bland + no crowbat. h
HGSS fixes nothing, ORAS is ugly+no battle frontier. BDSP is an insult to customers overall.
To fair though, the least shat on games seem to be Red and Blue since they were the first and Emerald because the new
additions compensates for R/S's flaws
