then again regenerator shed tail off of 120 speed probably takes it up a notch. i get snakes shed their skin, but the only 2 mons that get it are a sturdy motorcycle and a worm made of steel

Snakes are the only living animal capable of quickly evolving in pursuit of their environment. For example, they develop poison to defend against predators, they can spit venom, they can adapt to living in water, and humans have domesticated them very quickly. It fits inspiration-wise.

No, it's defense are shit. It's rare it can take many hits at all. That being said, I'd be fine with giving it good speed while keeping it's defenses the same. At least then it would have more chances to set up without getting immediately killed. Buffing attack would also be nice, but not as necessary. Buffing them to 120 is also a tad overkill.

It doesn't really need any of those but sure, why not.

This is what made me reply because you obviously don't know how Arbok is used. Arbok's main niche is Coil-boosted STAB Gunk Shot. Getting rid of it's Poison typing would massively nerf it's most powerful niche.
Secondary Dark typing is a good idea, although I personally prefer it being Poison/Ground. It (arguably) makes more thematic sense, and Poison/Ground is a surprisingly strong STAB combo (much better than Dark/Dragon, by the way).

Did you just throw Regenerator in there because it's the stereotypical OU ability? Anyway, Arbok already has two of the best abilities in the game, one of which (Intimidate) is widely considered THE best in both singles and doubles.

Is mimicry supposed prove snakes are uniquely "good at evolving"? Whatever that means? Because there are plenty of animals that mimic things other than snakes. Just as many (if not more) animals mimic wasps and ants, should Durant and Vespiquen get Adaptability too?

wouldn't it make it susceptible to only more incredibly common offensive types though? then again, you probably could do that to justify also giving it coil boosted stone edge, but it'd probably take a niche away from another pokemon by doing that
