>>55696539Play red first. Get Nidoking, Arcanine, Aerodactyl, take Blastoise as starter or if you don't want Blastoise, get a Gyarados. Most pokemon in gen 1 have terrible move pools without TMs, some good pokemon like exegguter never learn anything good, so you should learn which pokemon are worth using. Dodrio, Rapidash, Nidoking, and Arcanine, Alakazam are all great. Aerodactyl is for speed, which increases you crit chance gen one. Alakazam for special defense/damage.
