Pretty much, what do you mean I have to teach my sandslash dig with a TM because it learns no ground moves by level up in rby? what if I suddenly need the dig TM and won't have it even though I hoard TMs?

Isn't that Battle Facility exclusive? I used that once when I was in the Battle Pyramid, it was a life saver. Mainly because I was in the last Golden Symbol run.

I only used them when I have frinedship boosting items. Only way to have a Lopunny/Roselia in an acceptable timeframe.

Between that and the fact that Sandslash is exclusive to Blue, is it really any wonder people default to Dugtrio instead, who has a great natural learnset that allows you to conserve your one-per-game TMs?
Ever since Stadium hit the scene, I can't imagine anyone who was spending their TMs like wild when they needed everything they could get to properly stand a chance against Round 2 NPCs.
