I wouldn't be surprised if it also doesn't have held items and mega evolution happens via a bar that needs to be changed.
of course we only have legends arceus to go on, but it seems these are the games they use to experiment (agile & strong style for example). az only being in lumiose city is a good indication it is going in that direction again, rather than being like the actual main games.
