i used a granbull, a corsola, a politoed, a scyther, and a dunsparce in that run, so nothing really had more than 1 HM. you always have access to raticate and furret though.

Not really a trick to it aside from resetting. You can punch your trainer ID and secret ID into Pokefinder to find roughly what your odds are for getting a Pokemon of that nature.

very cool team, OP. congratulations on becoming the hoenn champion. if you ever replay ruby, Zangoose is insane insane and only obtainable in ruby in gen 3 outside of cheats.
