if you want a rom hack with similar vibes, i'd recommend coral, although at this point i'd maybe hold off until it fully releases. the demo is an amazing experience as it stands but it's been confirmed you won't be able to transfer your data once the full game releases, and while it's been out for over a year and a half now, thankfully progress still seems to be going along steadily, albeit slowly. definitely worth the wait regardless though.
