>>55735385Now onto the amnesia aspect…I firmly believe that falling is EXTREMELY traumatic, putting being assaulted in every which way to shame.
That being said, being assaulted would be traumatic in itself, right?
What kind of trauma would a female faller been through previously?
Anyone?
Exactly. The effects of pre-existing trauma would still be there, or if a faller had been through martial arts training of any sort they would still be able to use them, like riding a bike. But no reasonable person would exploit trauma like that. Unless something else started the trickle before the dam bursts.
Anyway, your favorite foods now taste off or outright disgusting if it doesn’t make you sick.
As the memories start to return, you remember the little things, such as memories anyone would have, even if they are reconstructed. Such as what your parents did after picking up a velvet ant (may or may not be speaking from experience)
And then there are the warped memories.
Oh yes…I presented this in another thread long ago, and got a crying cat face, so I’m sticking with it.
But wait, Emmet and Ingo seem like they were raised in a healthy, well-structured environment. What kind of memories could be warped?
A petty little spat they had as ten-year-olds, that’s what. And it could be warped into a major fight as adults. (But common sense should kick in)
And in my OCs case, she is adept at swordsmanship, so any memory she could have of being hit could stem from blunt training.
Or, being scolded for taking a cookie right before dinner could spiral into being screamed at like you were in the army.
And the problem is that it could or could not mean you’re doing it right.
And forget about getting home, the second the first universe was born, there was already an infinite number based on where the atoms were placed. Never mind where a specific grain of sand is, or which direction a crack on the walls took. Or who went in the opposite direction.
