The lads. Total whiteouts: 44. Over a third of them were on Venom 1.
Clefable was easily the MVP for the entire game, but Tyranitar, Aegislash, and Excadrill put in their share of work. Rotom was great when he wasn't missing Hydro Pumps and Cinderace, while very good in his niche, ended up being far more situational as I didn't have a lot of ways to switch him in safely outside of Rotom's volt switch and most of the custom megas have a higher base speed than him.

If you want to make your game actually difficult, and more importantly, fun, take a page out of clover's book where it inundates you in both powerful options and a huge range of creative threats from opposing trainers in tandem with a well-written AI that knows how to both utilize its own tools as well as attempt to counterplay some of yours. If you're not willing to put in the effort to make your PVE AI interesting and dynamic, you really shouldn't be making "challenge" pokemon fangames to begin with.

Kidding aside, there are a few mechanics I do miss from Eon Guardians. The accuracy boost perk thing made me actually use some low accuracy moves and enjoy them. I also thought I'd hate the rebalancing shit, but I guess it wasn't as noticeable after a while.
The AI was kinda interesting, since it was all chicken and would switch immediately after being slept. I think it wasn't completely random, and sometimes tried to predict you switching too, except I just don't do that as much and just gambled on how long it takes to wake up.
