>>55776793This is such an American way to think. I'm a different Anon in one of the North European Nordic countries, so good luck trying to paint us to look like we're 3rd world. While mostly confined to summer months (because obviously winter is fucking cold), barefoot in public definitely happens here, and I've witnessed several live examples.
Just last summer I went to a town fair, where I saw a maybe 16-year old girl with her dad standing behind a stall that sold candy, she was fully barefoot in shorts. An even more impressive sight was a heavy metal girl in black jeans, band T-shirt and studded leather belt with not a shoe in sight. She instead barefooted on what must've been blistering hot tarmac that day, because we were having a rare heat wave that week, with her black polished toenails fully visible to the world.
And that doesn't even include the dudes I saw. I saw what must've been a 220+ Lbs weight lifting freezer/fridge combination looking motherfucker in a white T and cargo pants with no shoes in sight who didn't give a shit. And another guy with his GF (;_;) openly making out in public in just bikini and swim shorts, the dude shirtless.
Just saying, it happens. Widen your horizons. There's a whole civilized world out there with attitudes very different from yours.
