People act like they have the same rules, even visually, and say "They're based on children so what you like is children IRL"
But anime rules for what makes children are completely different? They have much bigger eyes, wear brighter/cuter/simpler clothes in media (a lot of medias actually have things such as hoodies on early teens and skirts are way more common for schoolgirls), etc.
Do girls IRL have much bigger eyes when they're teenagers then when they're adults? So what happens if you think Anime looks really attractive, and you think they're more attractive with bigger eyes/more innocent expressions?
What about their mind? Every single one's thoughts in all art and official media is actually created by adults. Every line a lass has made in a game was thought up by an adult, making up their personality. Is roleplaying illegal IRL? Because that's essentially what it is.
