(Spoiler warning for all who read)
>for now the game is planning to be released January 25th 2025
>the game is not taking place in the past like Legends: Arceus, but rather in the present day/aftermath of x and y and after scarlet and violet
>the starter pokemon are not spread across the regions like in arceus, but instead just the kalos starters, but they get mega evolutions and be the main focus of the game
>just like the original games, you get a "secondary" starters choice which are the elemental Monkeys which receive mega evolutions once they finally evolve
>The game is called Z-A for Zygarde as well as the A legendary, Aagorasil who represents genetic code/DNA.
>The twist at the end of the game, is that Aagorasil intimidates xerneas and yveltal and seizes them which causes zygarde to reach its final form and you have to chase xerneas and yveltal throughout Kalos as the game removes the restriction of being just in lumiose at the final battle. This pokemon can transform genetically to resemble a tree or a cocoon. Once you beat them you return in Lumiose and cannot explore outside of it in the post game aside from Kiloude city
>The plazas play a huge role where you battle mega pokemon instead of gym leaders. I know the final boss mega evolution is Volcarona and is a very hard battle
>The gameplay is drastically different from legends arceus and similar to the main series games
>Mega evolutions for alot of pokemon, some of them being newer pokemon like Falinks, Baxcallibur and Dragapult ive seen
>From what ive seen lumiose is slightly bigger than the Terrarium with different elevations to the region and there is a beautiful flower shop which sells flowers from other regions, the Eternal Flower can be found there en masse
