Or maybe I dislike it because I remember Skarmory in the Johto anime and dislike the claims that Skarmory, Slugma and Magcargo are Hoenn Pokemon.
I think I also remember Slugma and Magcargo in the Johto anime but I've looked it up and they first appeared in the 5th season the first digiral animated season and the one where it makes sense to have Hoenn anime arround even though it's still Johto.
