All of those effects are nice and all, but the flat raw damage from Close Combat is always preferable.
Also, it's stuck on Hisuian Decidueye currently and isn't likely to get anywhere else until they make more archer Pokemon that could receive it.

Make it a 3-hit move, 30BP per hit, 85% accuracy
First hit has a 30% chance to lower Defense
Second has a 30% chance to cause flinch

Because the best way to make people like a Pokémon is to make it overpowered. Thats why Game Freak’s favorite pokemon are so strong while Pokemon that game freak wants you to hate are gimped to be shitmons. It’s just more noticeable now because Game Freak understands how their own game works now so they know how to make Pokémon broken

It's only on one Pokemon with an uninspiring stat spread and a mediocre typing both offensively and defensively
only banded sets seem to prefer close combat though, every other set i've seen on it uses triple arrows

Or they swap his special attack for speed. Seriously it looks more agile then the alolan one yet it somehow has 60 speed? Keep in mind Skeli is somehow faster so there's no way someone at gamefreak hq didn't sabotage him

Man you're actually retarded or just deliberately disingenuous. Dire claw is fucking 50% for status. 16.6% sleep. If it was adjacent to tri attack, it'd be 20%, not 50%. Tri attack is 6.6% freeze. You're 2.5x more likely to get the status with Dire Claw than with tri attack.
