>>55804029Absol's first appearance was the perfect introduction for it, and was probably one of the most memorable moments I had with any Pokemon game, I guess it helps that Ruby was my first game too. Route 120 is such a cool looking route when you first get to it, with the reflective water, the extra tall grass and the rain. It's the only place Absol appears, and Absol's appearance isn't like any other Pokemon you see up to that point. Mysterious, cool, rare, strong, hard to catch, with a striking cry and an ominous dex entry.
