I'm glad they're back to making a variety of Pokemon in a gen. I'm tired of them trying to play it safe gen 6 onwards. People will mention a Pokemon from here or there that looks like shit or too goofy but the concepts behind them never utilize their full potential.

the only problem is too many dogs and too little convergents, it's a huge improvement over Galar which also suffered from constantly reusing the same animals (did we need two canine legends and yamper ontop of two equine legends + g.ponyta? fuck no)
