>>55838590well you must consider who is this for? normal people cannot afford this. nobody buys 1000 dollar pokemon cards unless they have stupid money.
its only relatively expensive.
do i have 1000 bucks i can throw down on a card right now?
yes
but why would i spend that much on a card with 11k pop, where everyone thinks that their 1000 dollar card is really worth that. and theres probably another 30-40k of this specific card being well preserved in a toploader or a ultra pro one touch. because people think its actually worth money, and they never let it touch sunlight because the percived value causes them to be this stringent. only further preserving the card and not lowering the population at all.
who is this for, and who is foolish enough to even spend more than 75 dollars on this card is just a sucker.
i guess the people that have this card, just dread the day that people flood the market with it. and people get desperate and competitive, and it bottoms out in price. because the supply is probably greater than the demand.
and its not a 1000 dollar redemption ticket to receive 1000 dollars back at any time.
its a pipe dream that the 50k people that own this card are just not letting go. because who wants to be told that their shit isnt rare and their shit isnt that valuable because they price tracker on the internet said so.
so like i said, who is this actually for, but a fool, trying to fool a fool.
