I'm new here and only ever watched the cartoons as a kid, got into POGO during the pandemic and again recently. What's the general consensus here on the game?

I like the social aspect of being able to explore in real-life and catch Pokemon, seeing other trainers and competing in PvP battles but I'm curious - why has Nintendo never made a similar game but on the PC? Sort of like a World of Warcraft but with Pokemon?

I've begun to genuinely have an interest in the Pokemon universe, but I don't see the appeal of playing age-old games on the DS where I'll only ever be able to play alone.
