But fine, lets say Johto and Unovas starters are just so much worse than every other starter set on a fundamental level they they deserve to get the shit end of everything. Why didn't Game Freak make them marketable like they did with the 7 other starter sets. It couldn't have been an accident sense that would imply they just forgot how to make starters twice despite apparently getting it perfect 7 times.
