You can take down enemy Pokemon quicker using the SM than you can using Auto battles, but you can spawn Pokemon far enough from your regular body that if you go back to yourself, those Pokemon cease to exist. So any shinies found while using the SM are basically uncatchable. Also, Pokemon who are AB never attack shiny Pokemon, but Pokemon you take control of for SM do. Beyond being faster than AB though, again: there isn't much point to it. It's a cool concept, but it's pretty worthless overall. Plays fine, works fine, but it's pointless beyond "Look at me! I'm a Pokemon!"

And if you think otherwise you're a fucking Galar apologist. Or you're blind and retarded, Anon. The lighting engine for SV might've been bad, but the models in SwSh were FAR worse, universally.
