You're ignoring historic industry-wide factors in the habits of video game players reading this like every other 'tarded little XYgote who ignore megas just *can't* be just a gimmick they fuck games as they see fit (ie, what's easiest to add to a burner game, due to the fact they didn't need to TRY to fit all 48 into say LGPE, unlike adding Z-Moves, when they'd have to adapt it for all 153 pokémon they were adding.
