That's because GF recycled the designs from RSE for the PWT, in fact, we probably wouldn't have had all the Gym Leaders and Champions in the PWT if it weren't for sprite recycling (only Hoenn's needed new sprites).
>>55845075There's a reason that the guessed age for Wally in Gen 7 on Bulbapedia was removed a few years ago, there's no solid proof. In my assumption, ORAS Wally shouldn't be that old then, more around 11 - 13 depending on when exactly SM/USUM takes place if ORAS takes place during the year of its release, 2014 (which is most likely given the various hints in the game, but that's another topic).

There was another fan theory video that came out recently that was a painful slog to watch, but it had some good points such as Gens 1 & 2 being their own timeline, but then started going off course around Gens 3 & 4, then derailed on Gen 5.Yes, I am aware of the irony of posting a Pokéboy with a husbando form in a later game/alternate universe in a husbando thread.
