Second, it can use Eviolite and chooses not to anyways despite the massive defenses it gets (inb4 /vp/ doesn’t understand why offensive Pokemon would like defensive backbones).
Third, why not choose the evolution with another offensive item? Honestly that’s the underlining issue with offensive eviolite.
Eviolite worked back then because it competes with almost nothing. It has Leftovers, Assault Vest, and recently HDB. Offensive Eviolite would be fighting against Life Orb, Choice items, and more.
