What's clowny about it anon? I made sure to improve the flames so they're obviously coming out of dirge's snout and it doesn't go around its head as much so you wouldn't think it's hair.

Beautiful, but shouldn't the yellow of the flames correlate to the baby blue instead of tye dark blue? I'd also mske the dsrk blue a bit lighter.

I used to have an off-brand plushie of Venusaur back in the 90s and I swear it looked like picrel. It was oddly fitting IMO.

Yeah I guess it should be like that, it probably has to do with inverting the colors and then changing the hues but I can't manage to make it work with my tools I'm not an artfag, I was just messing around in paint net.

It's okay, I still like the final product a billion times then whatever slop GF likes to pump out.
I actually used to edit gen3/4 sprites with paint all the time when I was a teenager but I don't have any of the sprites on me rn.

The red one portrays the sense better and is more colorful, even though i wish theyd change the elements of the starters

These colors are a good idea for a megaevolution or something

Black shinies are almost always kino. I think the blue flames look better for the ghost angle but I do like that base dirge feels undead without defaulting to the typical cool colors like blue and purple that you see almost always see for ghost types.
But its base shiny is garbage so basically anything is an upgrade.
