It does not MATTER if 2 Types are different forms of the same substance, as long as they behave different physically that's perfectpy fine justification for them being different Types.
No one has a problem with Ice and Water. Can you dumbasses shut the fuck up about Ground and Rock, they are different because they behave in markedly different ways and that happens to be extremely relevant in a rock-paper-scissors style game. Pokemon Types are not elements. Put this crap to rest already.
