Season 1 Ash would totally get behind Ogerpon's thirst for vengeance and help it avenge it's old master and proceed to get their asses whooped because Season 1 Ash was a battle brainlet who lucked out most of the time until they do some training with someone who knows what they're doing.

I don't know about the rest, but Cetitan is safe, while Nemona and Juliana have cool running lizards, it's very typical of Ash to have a slow, friendly giant transporting him and his team slowly throughout the region.

NTA but it's the way they use champions in the anime, they have a full team, possibly a bunch of backup pokemon like Cynthia's Kommo-o or Iris's Goodra, but 90% of the time you're only going to see them with a single Pokemon.

I should also clarify that this is considering Ash as a supporting character or a simple cameo since I don't think they will use him as a main character for a long time.

I think he was referring to pokemon aces, 4 kantomon, 2 Hoennmon, 1 Sinnohmon, 1 Unovamon, 0 Johtomon, 0 Alolamon, and 0 Galarmon.

And they can change Ash's sole ace in every season instead of pushing that rat. For HZ, Ash's ace could be Annihilape or Lokix however Ceruledge would have been better since no NPC owns one as their ace.
