>>55843943I just watched this movie for the first time and I was pretty baffled. It just wasn't good and felt like they wanted to do something else with it. It's like they couldn't decide if they wanted random adventure movie or a romance movie. The people in the city just cease to exist while all this insane shit is going on. As if no one hears anything that's happening outside. It's so immersion shattering. The villains aren't interesting either. They're just these bratty girls acting like teenagers instead of someone who's actually threatening. Latios dies and it could have been a really emotional scene but it all just happens so fast that I felt nothing. Only the beginning feels like something that had intention put behind it. What a disappointment.
