>>55847754You try to make it sound like Wigglytuff is a bad Pokemon, but in the current VGC metagame, it seems to me like it could be a genuine wildcard option because of its moveset diversity. Furthermore Competitive allows it to benefit from Incineroar's nonstop presence as source of Intimidate AND neutralize any attempts to weaken the opposing team's firepower with Parting Shot, and its type combination gives it generous assets against staples like the aforementioned Incineroar, Flutter Mane, Regidrago and Urshifu.
Or hell, never mind Competitive. I'll take cues from your own idea of what makes a good Pokemon, Yawnfag! Didn't you forget Wigglytuff has Cute Charm, an ability that allows you to pull some nasty luck-based trickery when it procs and infatuates an opponent, thereby forcing them to either take a gamble or switch to nullify infatuation, leaving them wide open to punishment? That's a really solid play against Urshifu if you switch smartly and get lucky! Even Frisk could be possibly helpful because it allows you to get a read on what your opponent's sets might be in case they're running counter-meta or hinging on you expecting a stereotypical set!
Don't count out Granbull either, if you become a master of move order control, you can get serious strategic mileage out of Quick Feet or Rattled, assuming you don't want to run Intimidate! And that's not even getting into the fact Granbull also has access diverse array of moves for all sorts of strategies, meaning you'll keep your opponent guessing and worrying once you gain momentum!
