>>55854286>Who flinches now?The Nidoking for being slower
>>55854287Not him but stat-modification status moves would have inherent priority in ties due to the stat mod being their primary effect. Status application and secondary-effect stat mods would still land but have no influence on the current turn. Double KOs would be a thing.
Two identical Dragonite or whatever, both use Thunderbolt, but one paralyzes the other. Both Thunderbolts would go off uninhibited, and the one Dragonite would be paralyzed afterwards.
Same two Dragonite, one uses Thunder Wave, the other uses Ice Beam. The one Dragonite would be KO'd, while the other would be Paralyzed but uninhibited for the current turn.
Two identical Snubbull, one uses Growl, the other uses Bite. The one would be immune to flinch, while the other's Bite would be subjected to the Attack drop.
Same two Snubbull, except the one uses Play Rough and gets lucky with an Attack drop. The first still wouldn't flinch, but the other's Attack drop would apply after its Bite lands.
>Destiny Bond/SubstituteWould activate first
>flinchOnly applies specifically to slower Pokemon, two Pokemon of equal Speed and priority would be immune to each other's flinches
