Frame rates would drop drastically when it first released and overall choppy visuals and subpar performance for a Nintendo IP. People expect polish from first party games and Pokémon lacks that. The times I helped my nephew when he got stuck looked atrocious, there was constant pop-in, and everything looked like a fangame demo. Same for PLA, open world pokemon looks terrible. The gameplay is probably fine but I find it unplayable because of how bad it looks. It doesn't have all the Pokemon so it's not canon either.

It's a good game dragged down by it's technical side. Few more months of bug fixes (kinda already done in post-release patches) and working on aesthetics and this would be a really fucking strong title.

There's nothing to do besides catch Pokemon in empty fields, trudge through sluggish subpar battles, stack sandwiches, and glitch out. Besides the sandwiches, I can do all that in older and better Pokemon games.
