If you were following the new system scuttlebutt, you'd know they're aiming for backwards compatiblity, will have profile transfer and upscaling of old games played on the new system and if you'd been playing Pokémon longer than Switch era, you'd know they ROUTINELY are among the last, if not THE last Nintendo-affiliated studios to release games on the old system to wring the last possible sales out the system.

You do realise the numbers for the burner games are now hitting core sale totals from 14 years ago and the main pairing sales have similarly seen an increase, due to FINALLY being on a system normalfags bought in droves, leading to the people who'd fallen by the wayside returning to the tune of besting GS's sales total.
