>>55858879She’s a very interesting character. Nemona is a lot of things, without neatly falling into any one archetype. She’s a tomboy— but not really. Actually, maybe she has a physical problem, but it’s never commented on. She has obsessive Yandere qualities but not enough to really be one. Maybe she’s also autistic (?). She’s competent and well-meaning, but that feels like a background element of her character. Also she’s rich, but it doesn’t seem to affect her.
Unlike someone like Penny or Arven, whose characters are very strongly defined and vibrant in their archetypes, Nemona is kind of muddy in how she’s presented. That might seem like a bad thing, but it actually makes her Very interesting.
It’s like Mona Lisa’s smile, in that the uncertainty makes for a million interpretations. Even in this thread it’s like people often speak past each other about their own headcanons of her. And all of them are ‘correct’. Everyone’s got their own read on her, I myself have several.
There’s something undeniably enchanting in the mystery, it draws the analytical mind in. I desperately want to know what Nemona truly is like, her Nemonic essence distilled.
It helps she’s cute.
