There's not much I can do about my unhealthy mindset besides learning from the writers I see as better than me and improve constantly. And I think you should also write a fic, I mean you're already doing a wonderful job now. Don't underestimate yourself!
He'd get bored of watching TV and turn it off to just snuggle together instead. His hair would tickle my neck as he rests his head on my chest. I'd sneak a hand beneath his pajama top to tease his spine with a finger, and he'd instinctively shudder and seek more. I'd move upwards and gently rub his tummy, which would be just a tiny bit softer from Kiki eating a bit more. I'd move upwards even more and lightly pinch his nipple...
