If memory serves it got nearly no responses and died on page 10, but got reposted around on instagram and whatever other sites. It exploded like wildfire there, only to recursively explode on /vp/ a bit later for the same "ironic" usage. I remember seeing it on the catalog only to later get sent it by one of my friends who knew I browsed /vp/. Can't confirm this since Nyafuu is long since dead and b4k doesn't go that far back, but I think it was reposted a few times before that as well fishing for responses. There's good odds it was astroturfed.
Just look at how many replies it had originally in the screencap, only 10. I don't know if that includes the comments you could leave on posts on Nyafuu, either.
