>>55876514>so many people have collections from over the years and don't want to pay for a subscription serviceSo they can keep their shitmons in their respective games. It's just data represented by a sprite or model, they're not real.
>I feel like dexbloat is such a RR-complainer tier complaint, but I do imagine there's some logistical concerns for Gamefreak of over 1000 mons and growing needing updates to moves and/or abilities and even their models over the years endlessly, but for most consumers they just see the fixed frequent release cycle and oversaturation and just want more emphasis on quality and care. I don't care as much about the dexcut anymore personally, but it set a precedent, and we've been seeing that precedent unfoldYes, precisely, it was bound to happen, but they created an excuse: "we're doing this to achieve high quality animations" and that was so obviously not true, people were obviously betrayed by it. Ironically, if they had cut the mons without even addressing their (very obvious) reason, there wouldn't be a large public outcry, they already cut the national dex in S/M and i didn't see anyone talking about it until i saw it for myself. Honestly, they should just go all the way in the chopping block and cut most of the previous generation's mons, to deal with the content bloat, but they won't.
