I skipped Sword and played Scarlet.

I'm now going back through Sword and it seems way prettier and more advanced than Scarlet.

As shitty as the wild area looked, I still thought it was about on par with gen 9's open world. At least the wild area was an optional excursion you could run past pretty quick.
