>>55890165Khu hasn't had correct info since before Indigo Disk's release. He was spending the lead-up to pokémon day playing both sides the Gen 2/Gen 5 shitposting right up until L: Z-A, then he pivoted and pretended he'd been hinting at Gen 6 all along.
I'm not saying he's wrong with L: Z-A's release (I've been expecting a late '25 release with Gen 10) but I am saying no-one connected with the brand officially told him this info off the record. A broken clock is right twice a day after all. I'm still not convinced Game Freak aren't releasing a game this year, still time to announce one as it stands to launch for November.
Also, to the fuckwits thinking there was some kind of delay, the delay was only for the new system. It WAS due this year and Nintendo pushed it back to build up stock reserves and avoid the Switch launch, where they couldn't keep units on shelves or make them fast enough to handle demand. Pokémon's still on its two-year lead-in to the new system though, complete with burner game to sign off from and as anyone with a modicum of understanding about how Game Freak go about making video games, they'll know the programming for Gen 10 has only recently begun (3 year cycles, with year one being conceptualisation work and engine creation, two of actually building the game into reality) per their traditional project cycle.
