Okay, it's no secret by now that genwars have been a pretty big thorn in the side of this board recently. Now, in theory, we should have the tools to deal with this. I mean, it's against the rules.
However, in practice, this isn't so easy. On of the big problems with declaring a genwar is a threshold to declare it. There's a very big difference between expressing your approval and disapproval, and just shitting on a game for no reason other than "it'll provoke a reaction." Furthermore, the line gets blurred pretty intensely, as with a certain X and Y thread recently.
So, that begs the question: When should we start calling it a genwar, and what qualities will it have?
Yes this is a plea to improve the quality on this god forsaken board. The mods sure as hell aren't giving us examples.
