•Rattata's anatomy and coloring is at least different enough from a real mouse. And it's stupid to use it for the example when Raticate is closer to a real rat.
•Flamigo is just a simplified flamingo with a knotted neck. Diglett is a very simplified mole but it at least has the Wack-a-Mole theme going for it. There is no cleverness to Flamigo's quirk, it's just there so it isn't just a badly drawn flamingo.
