>>55910066Alright so I've done all of them except BSDP so here's my experience if you're starting from 3 then, the most important thing is pokeblocks so god I hope you have access to the ColoXD games so you can get the Mt Battle berries plus mirage island if you're insane or just willing to glitch in a Liechi, Google "Pokeblocks Calculator" and make a copy of the one found on pokemonribbons, maybe you can get away with less optimal feeding and not needing to glitch in berries with good moves.
Next moveset for me really only mattered in gen 3, in gen 4 I got away with not even changing movesets and focusing on scarf + good accessories then spamming high value moves and come gen 6 the exact same strat but with perfect contest stats because they removed the cap to feeding.
So here is my rec for a Volbeat in gen 3's movesets in each contest note you may not need to change your movesets if you can get away with spamming the cool combo, but if you want unique movesets here you go
>CoolDouble Team & Quick Attack spam this combo the other two moves don't matter
>BeautiyIce Punch & Thunder Punch another combo both are battle frontier move tutor moves
>CuteRest & Snore
>SmartSolarbeam & Toxic, you don't have any Smart move combos so just use any high value smart moves
>ToughTackle & Double Edge, another case of having no move combos so once again just spam high value tough moves
Note while I haven't tested it, spamming your Beauty or Cute move sets on other comps may work just fine so try those before changing moveset.
Gen 4
>Any moves worth 4 heartsRest/Snore from your gen 3 moveset would likely work
Gen 6
Max out blocks, moveset once again doesn't matter just use whatever is 4 hearts.
