Hard to believe it's nearly been 2 years since they came out. Personally, I enjoyed them for what they were. There were a lot of good ideas that just didn't get the chance to shine. It was the first game since Black and White that made me feel like I was on an adventure again, except maybe Legends: Arceus. On that note, I wished there was more from Legends: Arceus in Scarlet and Violet, but I understand the two games were probably developed simulataneously. I would rank them second to worst, just above Sword and Shield. I think GAME FREAK needs more time and experience to create a proper solid game. There's no excuses for this level of quality anymore.
