>>55926231You're either a troll or a chronic datura addict if you think Serperior is "the worst mon with Contrary", that's the polar opposite of the truth.
>ShuckleLiterally the worst attacking stats in the game. Power Trick is a meme that isn't actually good.
>Spindalol
>MalamarSuperpower has lower BP than Leaf Storm, and Malamar needs Tera in order to get STAB from it. It's also much slower.
>LurantisShit speed. Has the advantage of having two moves that benefit from Contrary, but since one is a physical move while the other is special, it can't simultaneously utilize both to their full potential. If it fully invests in Special Attack it's a worse Serperior, if it fully invests in Physical Attack it's a worse Malamar.
This is why Lurantis is used as defensive defogger, with Contrary serving the purpose of making Lurantis less passive than it's competition. In fact, it's not even really fair to compare them in the first place since the roles they serve are so different.
>EnamorusThe only one that can even attempt to claim to be a better Contrary user. But just like Malamar, it's a non-fighting-type who's only Contrary-benefitting move is Superpower. And it doesn't even use Superpower most of the time.
It's also slightly slower and frailer, and weak to sneaky pebbles.
>GF fucked it overAre you referencing the removal of Hidden Power? Well first of all, it has Tera, so it's fine for now. When Tera is gone next gen, it'll still be good. Yes, it'll struggle more against Steel and bulky Grass-types, which already gave it trouble anyway. But that's not enough of a crippling flaw to make it dogshit overnight.
There's a reason why of all the Pokemon I've talked about here, Serperior and Enamorus are the ONLY ones in OU. All the others are in ZU.
And if you're going to dismiss them being OU because "muh fanfic meta", then almost every starter, as well as ALL other contrary users, are shit as well since they aren't relevant in VGC.
