Good, defined style (graphics, music, etc) that isn't just Legends Arceus copy pasted, and thats superior enough.
Improved gameplay, much more side activities (even more now that openworld isnt a new thing anymore, theres not even that charm now), evil team isnt just one person, many trainer battles.
Xerneas and yveltal dont turn into abominations and the new forms arent just 15
It would also be good to have an actual ancient story that expands the pokemon lore apart from human drama lore, but its basically already confirmed not to be the case
