I know you're not intending to argue in any good faith, but just to continue my thoughts, I feel for mew you'll either want it to rest in its fetal position or have its idle animation be a lot a lot more animated, flying and flipping around or something. Not a pokemon you want to be particularly idle. It just doesn't express its playful, elusive nature, or satisfyingly use its body shape to make a good silhouette. It feels more stiff, like the official artwork.
The >Unite render is a nice example of how mew can in fact look good in 3D within its current proportions, they just have to take the time to work on it, which I doubt they will any time soon since mew is just some old mythical, not very high priority
