With four the original series is wrapped up, I like them all. With five they go to places that arent in line with the other regions, which just disjoints the series. Shoulda stopped after four.

Gen 4 legendries are when the legendary design peaked desu. Gods of time and space, creation and darkness, knowledge, emotion, willpower. Those concepts havent been topped yet.

For me, it's my friend's old copy of Blue with the sticker scratched off that he gave me years ago, in my pokemon special edition game boy, saved right in front of mewtwo after beating the elite 4. gave away my old copy of red to my other friend as a kid because I had yellow, but I dunno where yellow went...

True. DS era was ok but the only standout ones were HGSS and BW2. 3DS era less good even though I enjoyed XY (mostly for the online) and USUM. Haven’t liked any of the switch games so far really.
